
The Golden State Warriors bounced back from their loss by defeating the Brooklyn Nets 120-107 on Monday evening.
Stephen Curry dropped 27 points, shooting 8 for 15 from the field, while Jimmy Buttler finished with 21 points, 11 for 12 from the free throw line.
Warriors’ Trayce Jackson-Davis added 11 points, and Gary Payton II, De’Anthony Melton, and Will Richard each scored 10.
On the other hand, Michael Porter Jr. led the Nets with 27 points, and rookie Egor Demin added 23.
The Nets snapped their three-game winning streak.
The Warriors were off to a slow start in the first quarter and trailed by as many as 13 points, but recovered to lead by two at halftime, as Curry struggled to find his rhythm in the first half.
Curry took charge in the third as he scored 10 points to have an 89-85 edge at the end of the quarter.
Golden State led by 10 with 4:37 left in the fourth before the Nets went on an 8-0 run to make it 107-103 after a pair of three free throws from Terrence Mann.
The three-point king leaned into Nic Claxton as he shot a floater and was fouled, converting an and-one play.
Denim answered with a three-pointer before the Warriors scored on their next three trips, capped by Richard’s dunk that made it 116-106 to seal the win.
The Warriors are still on their three-game road trip at Charlotte on Wednesday, while Brooklyn hosts Houston on Thursday.
