The Brooklyn Nets delivered one of the most lopsided wins in franchise history on Sunday night, routing the Milwaukee Bucks 127-82 at Barclays Center. The victory matched the largest margin in team history and came without Brooklyn ever trailing.

Brooklyn improved to 7-18 and continued a recent surge after opening the season 3-13. The Nets have now won four of their last six games and three of four at home after starting 0-9 in Brooklyn.

Rookie Egor Demin led a balanced attack with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting, setting the tone early with efficient scoring and active defense. Noah Clowney followed with 16 points, knocking down four three-pointers and stretching Milwaukee’s coverage.

The Nets shot 53 percent from the field and 44 percent from beyond the arc, generating consistent offense through ball movement. Brooklyn finished with 33 assists on 45 made field goals and committed just 13 turnovers.

Nic Claxton added 10 points and helped anchor the paint, while Terance Mann and Michael Porter Jr. each scored 12. Brooklyn’s bench outscored Milwaukee’s reserves by a wide margin, led by Drake Powell’s 13 points and Ziaire Williams’ 10.

Brooklyn led 65-46 at halftime after shooting 56.5 percent in the first half. A decisive 24-11 run in the third quarter pushed the margin to 94-65 and removed any doubt.

The 45-point margin tied the franchise record originally set on Jan. 9, 1993, when the organization was still based in New Jersey. It marked Brooklyn’s most dominant performance of the season on both ends of the floor.

Milwaukee fell to 11-16 and continued to struggle without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has missed time since straining his right calf on Dec. 3. The Bucks have now lost three of four games since the injury.

Gary Trent Jr. led Milwaukee with 20 points, hitting four three-pointers. Kyle Kuzma added 13 points and seven rebounds, while the Bucks shot just 39 percent overall and 23 percent from three-point range.

The visitors never found rhythm offensively and were limited to 11 points in the fourth quarter. Milwaukee finished with 20 turnovers and managed only eight made threes on 35 attempts.

Brooklyn also played without its head coach, as Jordi Fernandez missed the game due to illness. Assistant coach Steve Hetzel directed the team and oversaw one of the most complete performances of the season.

The Bucks will look to regroup when they host Toronto on Thursday night. The Nets remain home to face Miami, aiming to build on their recent momentum.
