Barcelona left Belgrade with another road victory on Friday night, securing an 89–79 win over Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet and extending its dominance at Stark Arena.

The Spanish club has now won seven straight road games against Zvezda, which has not beaten Barcelona at home since October 2017.

Zvezda entered the matchup with confidence after seven consecutive home wins and a nine-of-eleven surge that lifted it into a share of the EuroLeague’s top record.

Barcelona, however, controlled the tempo immediately by pushing the pace and attacking in transition.

Will Clyburn delivered a decisive first half, scoring 20 points before the break on identical 4-of-5 shooting from both two-point and three-point range.

His scoring burst helped the visitors build a 46–39 halftime lead after Zvezda briefly tied the game at 21–21 early in the second quarter.

Barcelona opened a 52–42 margin in the third, but Zvezda answered with a 10–0 run that energized the sellout crowd and forced Clyburn to the bench with three fouls.

That is when Dario Brizuela took over, supplying nine straight points to stabilize Barcelona’s offense.

Zvezda mounted another charge early in the fourth, cutting the deficit to 63–62, but Brizuela responded with an eight-meter three-pointer that sparked an 11–0 stretch.

Barcelona’s defense held Zvezda without a field goal for nearly five minutes, ending any hopes of a late comeback.

Brizuela finished with 17 points in just 14 minutes, scoring 14 of them during the late-third-quarter and early-fourth-quarter surge.

Clyburn closed with 22 points, continuing his run of big performances in Belgrade after hitting a logo-range game-winner against Partizan earlier this season.

Kevin Punter added 14 points and six assists in his return to Belgrade, while Toko Shengelia recorded 15 points and several key baskets in the fourth.

Miles Norris contributed four points and five rebounds off the bench, including three offensive boards that extended possessions during tight stretches.

Barcelona shot 59 percent on two-pointers and held Zvezda to 16.7 percent from three-point range, a decisive statistical gap that shaped the outcome.

Zvezda received 19 points from Codi Miller-McIntyre, while Semi Ojeleye added 15 points and nine rebounds, but the hosts struggled to find rhythm from beyond the arc.

Barcelona improved to 9–5 and will next host Olympiacos in Round 15.

Zvezda, also 9–5, will be the designated road team in next week’s Belgrade derby against Partizan.
