The New Orleans Pelicans visit the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, November 29, at 8:30 p.m. ET at Chase Center. Both teams are coming off single-game losing streaks, with the Pelicans at 3-16 and the Warriors at 10-10.

New Orleans faces a significant injury challenge, as Dejounte Murray (right Achilles rupture), Herbert Jones (right calf strain), Karlo Matkovic (right calf strain), Jordan Hawkins (illness), and Jordan Poole (left quad strain) are all out. Trey Murphy III is questionable with right elbow soreness.

Golden State will be without Stephen Curry (left quadriceps contusion), Al Horford (right sciatic nerve irritation), and De’Anthony Melton (left ACL surgery). Jonathan Kuminga is questionable with bilateral knee patellar tendonitis, while Gary Payton II is probable with a left ankle sprain.

Trey Murphy III leads the Pelicans with 19.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, while Zion Williamson averages 21.8 points and 5.4 rebounds over nine games. Their availability could heavily impact New Orleans’ scoring balance and offensive spacing.

For the Warriors, Curry averages 27.9 points per game, and Draymond Green contributes 8.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody provide secondary scoring, making the depth chart critical with Curry and Horford sidelined.

The Pelicans have struggled to maintain consistency this season, particularly with injuries to key contributors. New Orleans allowed 133 points in a 128-133 overtime loss to Memphis on November 26, highlighting their defensive vulnerabilities.

Golden State is also managing a rotation with key absences, having lost 100-104 to Houston on November 26. Depth players like Podziemski, Moody, and Kuminga will likely see increased minutes to fill the void left by Curry and Melton.
