The Houston Rockets (11-4) visit the Golden State Warriors (10-9) on Wednesday at Chase Center, navigating an NBA Cup matchup while missing multiple core players.
Houston enters after defeating the Phoenix Suns 114-92, but will be without Kevin Durant, Steven Adams, Tari Eason, Dorian Finney-Smith, Fred VanVleet, and two-way player Kevon Harris.
Golden State also faces injury challenges, sidelining Al Horford, Jonathan Kuminga, and De’Anthony Melton, though the team is coming off a 134-117 home win over the Utah Jazz.
Both teams have not met earlier in the 2025-26 season, making Wednesday’s matchup a first test of depth and rotations.
Durant, when active, leads Houston with 24.6 points per game, while Alperen Sengun contributes 9.7 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 0.9 blocks.
Stephen Curry leads Golden State with 28.8 points per game, supported by Draymond Green’s 5.8 assists and Kuminga’s 6.6 rebounds.
