Paris Basketball pulled off a dramatic comeback on Thursday night, defeating Valencia Basket 90–86 at the Adidas Arena in Paris to snap a four-game losing streak. The hosts trailed by seven points with under three minutes remaining before staging an electrifying finish.
Nadir Hifi emerged as the game-changing figure, contributing 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists, including key baskets in the final stretch that swung the momentum in Paris’s favor. Jeremy Morgan and Sebastian Herrera also provided crucial support, with Herrera’s final three-pointer sealing the victory.
Valencia controlled much of the first half and the early third quarter, with Josep Puerto leading their efficient three-point attack. The visitors shot 42.4% from beyond the arc and outrebounded Paris 41–37, but struggled to close out the game under pressure.
Paris struggled offensively early, hitting only 3-of-18 from three-point range in the first half, but gradually found rhythm as the game progressed. The home team relied on Hifi’s ability to create scoring opportunities and capitalize on Valencia’s defensive lapses in the final minutes.
Trailing 79–86 with less than three minutes to play, Paris mounted an 11–0 run to snatch the win. Hifi drew a three-point shooting foul, converting all three free throws, and then nailed a step-back three to take the lead. On the final possession, he assisted Herrera for the game-winning shot.
Valencia’s Darius Thompson (13), Kameron Taylor (13), and Puerto (11) led scoring efforts, but the visitors could not respond to Paris’s late-game energy and precision. The loss drops Valencia to 6–5, while Paris improves to 5–6 in the EuroLeague standings.
Paris Basketball will travel to face Olympiacos Piraeus next Friday, and Valencia returns home to host Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade on the same day in Round 12.
