The Los Angeles Clippers have waived 20-year-old forward Trentyn Flowers, NBA insider Michael Scotto reported. Flowers spent the majority of the 2024–25 season with the San Diego Clippers in the NBA G League.
Flowers averaged 17.7 points on 48% shooting from the field and 39% from three-point range, while also contributing 5.0 rebounds per game over 40 contests. He appeared in six NBA games for Los Angeles, averaging 1.8 points in limited minutes.
The athletic forward declared for the 2024 NBA Draft after spending a season with the Adelaide 36ers in the Australian NBL Next Stars program. He initially aimed to play point guard, citing LaMelo Ball and Josh Giddey as inspirations, but was later moved to wing forward.
During his tenure with the 36ers, Flowers played 18 games, averaging 5.2 points per contest. He had standout moments, including a 23-point game against the Illawarra Hawks, but injuries—including a knee issue and neck strain—limited his overall contributions.
After going undrafted, Flowers signed a two-way contract with the Clippers and their G League affiliate in July 2024. He missed part of training camp due to left wrist surgery but became a key contributor in San Diego.
