Former NBA player Nate Robinson compared himself to Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards, noting that if he were around 6-foot-5, he would possess similar mental toughness.

Ever so often, Edwards was compared to many former NBA players, especially Michael Jordan. However, when discussing Robinson, who is listed as 5-foot-9, it becomes clear that they share the same build and athletic capability.

“I think Anthony Edwards is a 6’4, 6’5 type of Nate Robinson, built, athletic, backs up his sh** talking,” Robinsons said, via Hoopshype. “I love that. His personality off the court with his shoe deal and commercials… He does a great job being a great showman and presenting himself as one of the best players. He’s funny, he’s got a lot of swag, he’s a cool dude. I love his game.”

Aside from Jordan, Robinson also takes James Harden for Edwards, who is almost the same height as 6-foot-5 when he left the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he dominated back and forth.

“I know he’s going to take the league by storm in the next couple years and showcase what he can do – kind of like James Harden when he left OKC and got the opportunity to be that guy. It’ll be fun to watch what he does,” he added.

The three-time Slam Dunk champion is now 41, having played for the Knicks, Celtics, Thunder, Warriors, Bulls, Nuggets, Clippers, and Pelicans in 11 seasons. He averaged 11 points, 3 assists, 2.3 boards, and shot 42.3% from the field.
