The Boston Celtics have officially signed Wendell Moore Jr. to an Exhibit 10 deal, finalizing their training camp roster, according to Noa Dalzell.
Moore, a 2022 first-round pick originally selected by the Dallas Mavericks, has moved through multiple NBA teams, including the Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons, and Charlotte Hornets.
In the 2024–25 season, Moore appeared in 16 games with Charlotte, averaging 5.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while also spending time with the Greensboro Swarm in the G League. His professional experience is bolstered by earlier G League performances, where he averaged nearly 19 points per game over multiple seasons.
The Exhibit 10 deal allows the Celtics to evaluate Moore’s fit during training camp while maintaining flexibility for G League assignments.
While Moore has yet to establish a consistent role in the NBA, his experience across multiple teams and developmental leagues could provide Boston with a valuable, adaptable option for both regular season and playoff rotations.
