The Sacramento Kings have brought back guard Jon Elmore on an Exhibit 10 training camp deal, according to Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot.
Elmore, now 29, first entered the pro ranks after going undrafted out of Marshall in 2019.
Since then, he has carved out a career that has taken him across the G League and multiple European leagues, including stops in Italy, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, and Turkey, though he is still chasing his NBA debut.
Most recently, Elmore split time between the Kings’ G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings, and Turkish club Manisa Basket.
With Stockton last season, the 6’3” guard played in 34 games, starting 24 of them, and averaged 10.4 points, 4.8 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 40.4% from the field, 33.5% from deep, and 83.6% at the free-throw line.
Elmore now enters camp alongside fellow Exhibit 10 signing Terence Davis, while Sacramento’s three two-way contract slots are already occupied.
Exhibit 10 deals are often structured with the G League in mind, making it likely that Elmore will eventually return to Stockton to begin the season.
If he is waived and goes on to spend at least 60 days with the Stockton Kings, Elmore would be eligible for a bonus worth up to $85,300, giving him both financial incentive and a clear path to continue developing within the organization.
