According to NBA insider Brett Siegel, veteran forward Kevin Love is reportedly eyeing Los Angeles as his preferred destination.
League sources suggest that Love has expressed a strong interest in ending up with a team in L.A., fueling speculation that he’s hoping for a move to either the Lakers or Clippers.
While there had previously been whispers linking him to New York, particularly the Knicks, it appears those rumors may have been overstated.
At this time, there’s little indication that the Knicks are actively pursuing him, and the momentum around that possibility seems to have cooled.
Instead, the buzz around the league continues to point toward Los Angeles as Love’s desired landing spot as he weighs his options for the next chapter of his career.
Love has played 17 seasons for the Cavaliers, Timberwolves, and Heat. He has averaged 16.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 952 regular-season games.
He was selected to play in 5 All-Star games. He has won 1 Most Improved Player award and 1 NBA championship.
