The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially released their 2025 preseason schedule ahead of the upcoming 2025–26 NBA season.

The four-game slate begins on October 7 with a home game at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse against the Chicago Bulls.

Cleveland will then play back-to-back road games, first visiting the Bulls in Chicago on October 9 before traveling to Boston to face the Celtics on October 12.

The preseason will wrap up on October 14 with a second home game, this time against the Detroit Pistons.

All home games will be played at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, and all tip-offs are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET, except the October 9 matchup in Chicago, which starts at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Cavaliers will use the preseason to evaluate their roster and integrate offseason additions, including Lonzo Ball and Larry Nance Jr.

Cleveland’s roster entering the preseason includes returning core players Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen.

The front office also added rookies Tyrese Proctor and Saliou Niang in the 2025 NBA Draft.
