Former NBA forward Lamar Stevens is officially making the jump to Europe after signing a one-year deal with Paris Basketball, the French club announced Tuesday. The move marks the 28-year-old’s first experience in the EuroLeague.
Stevens, listed at 2.01 meters, played last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, appearing in 17 regular-season games and contributing 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest. He also saw limited minutes during the Grizzlies’ postseason run earlier this year.
A former Penn State standout, Stevens earned All–Big Ten First Team honors twice in college before starting his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2020. He played three seasons in Cleveland and later had short stints with the Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, and Motor City Cruise in the G League.
His NBA career totals include 220 games, 42 starts, and averages of 5.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 46.3% from the field. He also appeared in four playoff games across two seasons.
In the G League last year with Motor City, Stevens averaged 17.2 points and 7.5 rebounds over 18 games, underlining his productivity at that level.
