The Los Angeles Clippers have waived two-way guard Seth Lundy, league sources told HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto on Tuesday. The move comes as Lundy continues to recover from an ankle injury that sidelined him for the entire 2024–25 NBA season.
Lundy, 25, signed a two-way contract with the Clippers on March 1, 2025, after the team cleared a roster spot by releasing Kai Jones. At the time, Lundy was recovering from surgery to remove a medial bone spur in his left ankle, a procedure he underwent on May 1, 2024, while still with the Atlanta Hawks.
Despite the injury, Lundy is expected to be fully healthy in time for training camp, according to Scotto. The Pennsylvania native never made an appearance for the Clippers at the NBA level but was listed on the San Diego Clippers’ G League roster during his stint.
Before his injury, Lundy showed promise in the G League during the 2023–24 season with the College Park Skyhawks. He averaged 20.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 25 games while shooting 46.2% from the field and 40% from three-point range.
Lundy also appeared in nine NBA games for the Atlanta Hawks in 2023–24, averaging 1.6 points in limited minutes off the bench. The Hawks re-signed him to a two-way deal in July 2024 but waived him in December after his surgery.
