The Atlanta Hawks have reached an agreement with guard Lamont Butler on a two-way contract, securing one of the team’s two open two-way roster spots.

He joins Daeqwon Plowden, who is returning to Atlanta for a second season under a similar deal.

Butler wrapped up his college basketball career at the University of Kentucky after transferring from San Diego State, where he spent four years.

The 6-foot-2 point guard posted solid numbers in his senior season, averaging 11.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, showcasing his two-way potential.
