Los Angeles Clippers executive Lawrence Frank confirmed that re-signing James Harden is the team’s number one focus this offseason.

Frank said, per reporter Law Murray, the Clippers “hope to continue to see his play” next season.

Harden, 35, played 79 games in the 2024–25 regular season, averaging 22.8 points, 8.7 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game. He started every game and averaged 35.3 minutes on the floor.

In the playoffs, Harden appeared in seven games, averaging 18.7 points, 9.1 assists, and 5.4 rebounds while playing nearly 40 minutes per contest.

The veteran guard holds a player option worth $36.3 million for the 2025–26 season. He must decide by June 29 whether to exercise it.

The Clippers finished the season with a 50–32 record, tied for fifth place in the Western Conference.
