Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks have finalized a new contract agreement, securing the All-Star guard for three more seasons.

The deal is valued at $119 million over three years, with Irving choosing to decline his $43 million player option for the 2025–26 season in favor of signing a fresh long-term deal.

The new contract was negotiated by his agent, Shetellia Riley, who has represented Irving in previous negotiations as well.

Irving, who suffered a torn ACL in February, is currently undergoing rehabilitation and is expected to miss a significant portion of the upcoming season.

The injury was a setback in what had otherwise been a strong campaign.

Irving turned 33 this past March and remains one of the most experienced and impactful players on the Mavericks’ roster.

Since being traded to Dallas at the 2023 trade deadline, Irving has been instrumental in the team’s postseason success.

In 2024, he helped lead the Mavericks to the NBA Finals, and despite injuries in 2025, he was selected as an All-Star replacement, showcasing his continued value around the league.

In the 2024–25 season, Irving played in 50 games, averaging 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per contest, demonstrating efficiency and leadership when healthy.
