San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama has named his all-time NBA starting five, joining a popular tradition of legends and rising stars offering their personal dream lineups.
The 21-year-old center shared his picks during an appearance on Kevin Hart’s “Cold as Balls” presented by Old Spice, which aired earlier this week.
“Top five it’s hard to say but I can give you starting five. I got Curry, Jordan, Bron, Timmy, and Shaq,” Wembanyama said.
His list includes two-time MVP Stephen Curry, six-time champion Michael Jordan, all-time scoring leader LeBron James, Spurs legend Tim Duncan, and dominant Hall of Fame center Shaquille O’Neal.
Wembanyama’s inclusion of Duncan highlights the deep connection he feels to the San Antonio franchise. Duncan, a five-time champion and two-time MVP, spent his entire career with the Spurs, where Wembanyama is now seen as the centerpiece of their rebuild.
The 7-foot-4 sophomore recently wrapped up his second NBA season after San Antonio finished 34–48, ranking 13th in the Western Conference.
While the Spurs didn’t make the playoffs, Wembanyama delivered a standout campaign on both ends, earning All-Defensive honors and solidifying his role as one of the league’s most impactful young stars.
