After earning a spot on the All-NBA Third Team last week, Thunder forward Jalen Williams showcased his offensive prowess in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday night.

Williams exploded for a postseason career-high 34 points, helping Oklahoma City secure a thrilling 128-126 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series.

Williams was highly efficient throughout the game, shooting 13-of-24 from the field and connecting on 6-of-9 attempts from beyond the arc.

This performance was a marked improvement from Game 3, where he struggled with just 13 points and committed four turnovers in a loss.

Reflecting on the pressure and criticism that comes with stepping up on such a big stage, Williams told ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, “I feel like if you’re not really good, you’re probably not going to have any [scrutiny], so just play with it, just keep going.”

He acknowledged the doubters but remained confident in his abilities: “A lot of people that are talking about me can’t do what I do, and I know that, and I think that gives me a lot of confidence to just go out there and do whatever the team needs.”

Williams’ breakout game not only boosted the Thunder’s chances in the series but also demonstrated his growing confidence and ability to thrive under playoff pressure.
