One of the best defensive players of last year’s edition of the Euroleague is reported by Israeli media to have agreed terms with Maccabi. The word is of Stephane Lasme of Partizan.
The 26-year old Gabonese, is 203cm tall and plays as a power forward. He averaged 10.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 26 minutes in his 2008-2009 Euroleague campaign with Partizan.
The contract is not signed yet and Maccabi officials also keep an eye on Real Madrid’s Jeremiah Massey, in case he is released by the Spanish club.
