The Minnesota Timberwolves secured a 106-104 victory over the Miami Heat on Friday night, extending their winning streak to four games.

Mike Conley, Naz Reid, and Donte DiVincenzo each scored 15 points for Minnesota (36-29), which remains seventh in the Western Conference. Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, and Julius Randle added 13 points apiece, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker contributed 12.

Edwards, averaging 27.5 points per game this season, took a season-low 10 shots and made four. Despite his quiet night offensively, the Timberwolves had seven players score in double figures.

Minnesota led 106-101 after Edwards split a pair of free throws with eight seconds left. Duncan Robinson hit a three-pointer with three seconds remaining to bring Miami within two.

A last-second turnover on an errant inbounds pass from Conley gave the Heat an opportunity to tie or take the lead. However, Bam Adebayo’s three-point attempt bounced off the rim, sealing Minnesota’s win.

Adebayo led all scorers with 29 points and 13 rebounds for Miami (29-33), which sits seventh in the Eastern Conference. Tyler Herro added 22 points, while Robinson finished with 15.

Reid’s three-pointer with 4:42 left in the fourth quarter put the Timberwolves ahead 98-95, a lead they never relinquished. He followed with a hook shot a minute later to extend the advantage.

McDaniels shot 6-for-12 from the field, marking his fifth straight game of shooting at least 50%. Randle had a near triple-double with 10 rebounds and nine assists.
