Portland Trail Blazers forward Matisse Thybulle, who has been sidelined for the entire season thus far due to knee and ankle injuries, has recently taken a step forward in his recovery process.
According to head coach Chauncey Billups, Thybulle has begun participating in light 3-on-3 contact drills but has not yet received clearance to engage in full 5-on-5 scrimmages.
As reported by Sean Highkin of the Rose Garden Report, Billups acknowledged that while Thybulle is making progress, there is still no clear timetable for his return, and it remains uncertain when he will be ready to make his season debut.
