Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel predicts that Paolo Banchero will deliver stronger performances following the All-Star break as he continues to regain his rhythm.

In his analysis of five key storylines to watch for the remainder of the Magic’s season, Beede highlights Banchero’s gradual return to form after missing 34 games with a torn right abdominal muscle.

Since returning to the lineup, Banchero has posted solid numbers, averaging 20.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists over his last 18 games.

However, he has also committed 3.4 turnovers per game and struggled from beyond the arc, shooting just 28.9% from three-point range.

The young forward acknowledged that his biggest challenge post-injury has been regaining peak conditioning, allowing him to play with consistent energy and effort every night.

Banchero has played 3 seasons for the Magic. He has averaged 21.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 174 regular-season games. He was selected to play in 1 All-Star game and has won the Rookie of the Year award.
