The Indiana Pacers (22-18) delivered a statement win on Sunday night, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers (33-5) 108-93 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The victory ended Cleveland’s NBA-best 12-game winning streak and showcased Indiana’s surging momentum.

Andrew Nembhard led the charge with 19 points, while Pascal Siakam added 18 points and nine rebounds. Myles Turner contributed a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Jarace Walker impressed off the bench with eight points and a game-high 12 boards. The Pacers extended their own streak to six games and held the Cavaliers to a season-low 93 points.

Indiana’s defensive effort was key, especially in the second half, where they outscored Cleveland 68-40. The Pacers capitalized on the Cavaliers’ shooting woes, as Cleveland hit just 26.8% of their three-point attempts, including a dismal 1-for-16 stretch to start the second half.

Cleveland built a 15-point lead midway through the third quarter, but Indiana responded with a 32-7 run to seize control. Obi Toppin sparked the comeback with 10 points in five minutes, including a steal-and-dunk sequence that ignited the Pacers’ bench.

For the Cavaliers, Darius Garland scored a team-high 20 points with seven assists, while Donovan Mitchell added 19 points. Evan Mobley tallied 16 points and 12 rebounds, but their efforts weren’t enough to overcome Cleveland’s cold shooting and 13 turnovers.

The Cavaliers entered the contest boasting a league-best 40.1% three-point shooting percentage but struggled to maintain that efficiency. Mitchell and Garland combined for six of the team’s 11 makes from beyond the arc, while their supporting cast faltered.

Indiana faced adversity when All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton left the game at halftime due to left hamstring tightness. Despite his absence, the Pacers found offensive balance, with nine players scoring at least five points. T.J. McConnell dished out eight assists off the bench, and Thomas Bryant went a perfect 5-for-5 from the field to add 11 points.

The Cavaliers, who held a dominant 20-2 home record before the loss, will have a chance to regroup when the teams meet again on Tuesday in Indianapolis.
