Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga exited the arena on crutches tonight following what appeared to be a significant right ankle sprain sustained during the game.
The young talent, a key part of the team’s rotation, looked visibly frustrated as he navigated the postgame scene.
Veteran teammate Draymond Green, during a postgame interview, reacted succinctly to the news: “Sucks.”
His concern for Kuminga was evident as the injured forward crutched past.
“Are you alright?” Green asked. Kuminga’s response, though brief, was resilient: “Yes, sir.”
