De’Aaron Fox led the Sacramento Kings to a thrilling 113-107 comeback victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, scoring 35 points and sparking a 15-0 run to close out the game.
The Kings, now 15-19, erased a nine-point deficit in the final 3:15 to secure their second straight win under interim coach Doug Christie. Fox began the decisive run with a floater and later assisted on a crucial Keon Ellis three-pointer, tying the score at 107 with a minute remaining.
Malik Monk contributed 20 points and six assists, sealing the victory with two late free throws after a goaltending call on his driving layup gave Sacramento the lead. Domantas Sabonis had a dominant performance with 17 points, 21 rebounds, and seven assists, while DeMar DeRozan added 18 points.
Paul George led the 76ers with 30 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Tyrese Maxey chipped in 27 points, extending his streak of at least three made three-pointers to 10 consecutive games, a franchise record.
The 76ers, who fell to 13-18, were without Joel Embiid and Kelly Oubre Jr. due to injuries. Despite their absence, Philadelphia built a 14-point lead in the first half and held a nine-point cushion late in the fourth quarter before Sacramento’s dramatic rally.
Sabonis was instrumental in the Kings’ success on the boards, grabbing nine of their 14 offensive rebounds.
Philadelphia’s bench provided strong support, with Eric Gordon scoring 14 points and Andre Drummond adding 10 points and nine rebounds. However, turnovers proved costly for the 76ers, as they committed 18 overall.
