Lonnie Walker IV, currently playing for EuroLeague club Zalgiris Kaunas, is attracting significant attention from multiple NBA franchises.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, Denver Nuggets, and Boston Celtics are among the teams reportedly interested in acquiring the former first-round pick. Walker previously attended training camp with Boston before signing with Zalgiris in November.

In 11 EuroLeague games this season, Walker has averaged 14.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 22.5 minutes per game. His ability to score efficiently and contribute on both ends of the floor has made him a valuable asset for Zalgiris and an attractive prospect for NBA teams seeking midseason reinforcements.

The Celtics, who have familiarity with Walker from his brief stint in training camp, are rumored to be a strong contender. Meanwhile, the Nuggets and Heat could see Walker as a versatile bench piece to bolster their depth in pursuit of postseason success.

Philadelphia and Minnesota are also monitoring the situation closely, with both teams looking to add firepower to their respective rosters as they solidify their playoff positioning. Walker’s proven scoring ability and athleticism make him an appealing option for teams needing an immediate offensive boost.

The $450,000 buyout clause in Walker’s contract provides NBA teams with a straightforward path to sign him before the February 18 deadline. This flexibility has increased speculation that he could make a swift return to the league, where he spent the first five seasons of his career.
