Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart led the New York Knicks to a commanding 108-85 victory over the Orlando Magic on Friday night. The win extended the Knicks’ winning streak to six games and improved their record to 21-10 this season.

Brunson delivered 26 points and nine assists, playing a key role in New York’s offense. Hart contributed an impressive double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds, helping the Knicks control the game on both ends of the floor.

Karl-Anthony Towns added 16 points and eight rebounds, while Mikal Bridges chipped in 17 points to support the balanced attack.

For the Magic, Jalen Suggs stood out with 27 points, despite being limited to just 26 minutes due to foul trouble. Goga Bitadze added 14 points and 10 rebounds, but Orlando struggled to keep up with New York’s efficient offense and stifling defense.

The game remained close until midway through the third quarter when Brunson converted a three-point play to tie the score at 63. With Suggs forced to the bench after picking up his fifth foul, the Knicks went on a decisive 24-7 run, entering the fourth quarter with a commanding 87-70 lead.

New York dominated the glass, securing a 44-32 rebounding advantage. Hart and Towns combined for 21 rebounds, while the team capitalized on second-chance opportunities to maintain their momentum.

Although the Knicks shot just 26.7% from beyond the arc, they compensated with 53.3% shooting from the field and a solid 24-for-34 performance at the free-throw line. Orlando shot 36.8% from the field and managed only 10 three-pointers on 33 attempts.

The Magic were without key players Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner due to injuries, forcing lineup adjustments. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope moved to the forward spot, while Wendell Carter Jr. came off the bench, but these changes failed to spark the team.

Orlando has now lost five of its last seven games and dropped to 19-14 on the season. After starting the year with a 10-0 home record, the Magic have now lost four of their last six at the Amway Center.

New York’s defense played a crucial role in the victory, holding the Magic to 85 points and forcing 17 turnovers. Brunson and Hart each recorded two steals, adding to the Knicks’ defensive intensity.
