Austin Reaves’ standout 25-point performance propelled the Los Angeles Lakers (15-12) to a 113-100 win over the Sacramento Kings (13-15) on Thursday night. The Lakers earned their third victory in four games as they overpowered the Kings in the second half.

LeBron James also made history, breaking the NBA record for most regular-season minutes played. With 19 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s previous mark of 57,446 career minutes. LeBron spent 34 minutes on the court during the game, finishing with 57,471 total minutes.

Anthony Davis had a dominant double-double with 21 points and 20 rebounds, contributing heavily on both ends of the floor. D’Angelo Russell added 16 points, helping Los Angeles maintain control throughout the game.

Sacramento kept the game competitive, with De’Aaron Fox scoring 26 points and adding five assists. Domantas Sabonis came close to a triple-double, posting 18 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists, while Malik Monk added 17 points. However, the Kings were unable to overcome a slow start and faltered in the fourth quarter.

The Lakers led most of the game, but Sacramento made a push in the final period. Fox’s jumper brought the Kings within three at 93-90 with eight minutes remaining. But Reaves responded with a short bank shot, and Davis hit two free throws to spark a 10-2 run that gave the Lakers the separation they needed.

Davis suffered a scare midway through the fourth quarter, taking a hard fall to the floor. He remained down for a few moments before limping off, but quickly returned to make a key defensive play, demonstrating his resilience despite dealing with left plantar fasciitis.
