President Biden welcomed the 2024 NBA champion Boston Celtics to the White House on Thursday, but it seemed he was either uncertain about the team’s identity or making a playful remark.
During his speech celebrating their latest championship, Biden paused and turned to the team to confirm their name.
“You’re the Celtics, right?” he asked, prompting a few light, somewhat restrained laughs from the audience.
