Orlando Magic center Goga Bitadze spoke about his NBA journey after Wednesday’s 94-90 home win vs. the Indiana Pacers (12 points/12 rebounds/1 assist/1 steal/2 blocks/6-7 FG/+3 +/-).
(via Orlando Magic):
Reporter: “What are you most proud of about the way you’ve elevated your game over the last couple of years? Where are you most proud of what you’ve been able to do?”
Bitadze: “Just staying with it. I kept working. Kept believing in God, God’s timing. That’s all it is. I prayed about these days that I would get a chance to play and to play with these guys and beat my old team Indiana. It always feels great. I’m telling you, I was praying about this. God’s timing, three-and-a-half years basically. So yeah, it came true. I don’t know how many times we have beat them, a lot of times the last couple games. So yeah, it’s working out well. God, you know.”
