Sports journalist Michelle Beadle recently addressed the viral incident in which she accidentally dropped the N-word on air during a segment of Run It Back on FanDuel TV.
Beadle, while discussing the Denver Nuggets, made a slip of the tongue that quickly gained attention online. The slip happened as she sped through a question.
In an interview with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, Beadle explained the situation, saying, “I sped through a Nuggets question. And my vowels got all messed up. Then those two turds lost it. And we laughed through the entire Denver segment.”
She went on to express frustration over the way the incident was portrayed. “I imagine an edited version is going around. Not showing the real-time viewing and making it seem like an actual N-word with no response. Which I can’t control!” Beedle added.
As soon as she realized her mistake, Beadle attempted to recover by quickly saying, “Don’t try to get me on that,” hoping to redirect the conversation.
However, her co-hosts, including former NBA players Lou Williams and Chandler Parsons, couldn’t help but laugh at the moment. Parsons even joked, “I’m sweating,” as the crew tried to regain composure.
