Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 25 points, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 105-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. With this win, the Thunder improved to 6-0, marking their best start since relocating to Oklahoma City from Seattle in 2008.

The Thunder had a balanced offensive attack, with all five starters contributing in double figures. Luguentz Dort added 16 points, while Jalen Williams and Aaron Wiggins chipped in with 15 and 12 points, respectively.

Norman Powell was the standout for the Clippers, scoring 24 points. James Harden recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds, but the loss dropped Los Angeles to 0-4 in their new arena.

Despite holding double-digit leads in each of those defeats, the Clippers struggled to maintain their advantage. Coach Tyronn Lue opted to pull his starters with 4:13 remaining, signaling the challenge the team faced.

Gilgeous-Alexander was dominant, especially in the second and third quarters, where he scored 23 points. His performance further solidified his candidacy for MVP this season, as he effectively dismantled the Clippers’ defense.

Los Angeles started strong from beyond the arc, making eight three-pointers in the first quarter. However, the team faltered later, shooting just 3 for 16 (18.8%) from three-point range for the rest of the game.

The Thunder took control late in the third quarter when Aaron Wiggins hit a three-pointer to give Oklahoma City an 81-78 lead. They opened the fourth quarter with a 7-0 run, effectively creating separation.
