In his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee, James averaged 8.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 29.2 minutes per game during his final season.
His experience includes playing for the United States under-18 basketball team, where he won a gold medal at the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship.
James went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft and will seek an opportunity to get into the NBA with the Pacers.
