The Toronto Raptors have added Kennedy Chandler to their training camp roster, according to Aaron Rose.

Chandler, a former second-round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, brings potential to the Raptors’ backcourt.

He was drafted 38th overall by the San Antonio Spurs but was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies the day after the draft.

During his time with the Grizzlies, Chandler signed a four-year, $7.1 million contract, setting a record for guaranteed money for an American-born second-round pick.

In his NBA debut with the Grizzlies, Chandler contributed two assists and two blocks. Despite the promising start, Chandler was waived by Memphis in April 2023.

After a brief stint with the Brooklyn Nets, Chandler spent the rest of last season with the Long Island Nets in the G League.

With Long Island, Chandler averaged 14.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.

At Tennessee, Chandler was named to the Second Team All-SEC and the All-Freshman Team. In college, he averaged 13.9 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.
