The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to Exhibit 10 contracts with four players: Pete Nance, Jules Bernard, Nae’Qwan Tomlin, and Gabe Osabuohien, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.
Nance, a former two-way player, made a brief appearance with the Cavaliers last season, participating in eight games.
After going undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft, Nance joined Cleveland for the NBA Summer League and signed with the team on September 13, 2023.
However, he was waived on October 21 and subsequently signed with the Cleveland Charge in the NBA G League.
Nance rejoined the Cavaliers on a 10-day contract on January 18, 2024, becoming the third member of the Nance family to don the Cavaliers’ uniform.
In his limited time with the Cavaliers, Nance averaged less than a point in 3.4 minutes per game.
He excelled in the G League, averaging 13.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 34.2 minutes for the Charge.
Bernard also joins the Cavaliers after a varied journey since going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft.
He played for the Detroit Pistons in the 2022 NBA Summer League, where he scored a team-high 22 points in the finale.
Bernard signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pistons but was later released and joined the Capital City Go-Go.
He earned a two-way contract with the Washington Wizards, averaging 3.9 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per game last season.
Tomlin enters the Cavaliers after a standout season at Memphis, where he averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds in 26.7 minutes per game.
Osabuohien returns to the Cavaliers after spending time with the Cleveland Charge.
Last season, he averaged 3.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3 assists in 13.4 minutes per game for the Charge.
