Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma has expressed his ambition to compete in the 2028 Olympics and is even open to the possibility of representing another country if he doesn’t secure a spot on Team USA.

In an interview with All-Star Magazine, Kuzma reflected on watching Team USA clinch a gold medal in Paris last month, describing how it reignited his passion for international competition.

He spoke about how inspiring it was to see the U.S. team at the top of the podium, and how being part of that prestigious Olympic experience is something he deeply aspires to, even if it means exploring options beyond the U.S. roster.

“My number one goal is to play with Team USA in the Olympics, 100%, in four years,” he said during a visit to Manila. “I had the opportunity to play for Team USA back in the 2019 FIBA World Cup before I broke my foot, but I think it’s really cool that other players are going other places to play.

“Because it’s very, very tough to play for Team USA. It’s the top of the top, and it’s a little political at some times. But I’m going to work really hard and hopefully one day I can get back there.”
