The Sacramento Kings are scheduled to work out veteran forward TJ Warren this week.

According to NBA insider Sam Amick, the Kings are evaluating the 31-year-old ahead of potential roster decisions.

Warren, who played 11 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season, remains a free agent after posting averages of 3.7 points and 2 rebounds per game.

The workout comes as Sacramento looks to strengthen its depth at the forward position with several candidates under consideration.

In addition to Warren, the Kings are also set to work out Jae Crowder and Nassir Little this week.

Warren’s career-high came during the 2019-20 season with the Indiana Pacers when he averaged 19.8 points per game.

However, injuries have plagued the forward over recent seasons, limiting his impact on the court.

Warren began last season as a free agent before signing with the Timberwolves in March, but he saw limited minutes in his brief stint with the team.

The Kings are exploring multiple options at forward, seeking to add veteran experience and versatility to their roster.

If signed, Warren could bring valuable scoring ability to Sacramento, provided he can stay healthy and regain his form.

The Kings’ front office continues to assess the market for additional reinforcements as training camp approaches.
