The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Hungarian guard Vincent Valerio-Bodon to an Exhibit-10 deal, per NBA insider Michael Scotto.

Valerio-Bodon, 23, spent last season playing for the South Bay Lakers in the G League. The 6-foot-9 guard averaged 5.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 16.5 minutes per game.

Before joining the G League, Valerio-Bodon played professionally in Hungary for DEAC and Sopron KC. He also made his mark in Hungarian A League games, setting career highs in multiple categories, including 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The Exhibit-10 deal allows the Lakers to convert his contract into a two-way deal or assign him to their G League affiliate.

As the Lakers prepare for training camp, Valerio-Bodon will compete for a place among the roster’s guards and forwards.
