Tyronn Lue recently highlighted LeBron James’ unmatched work ethic during their time together with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In an interview with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson on Scoop B Radio, Lue emphasized that James consistently demonstrated an exceptional commitment to his craft.

“I think every single day LeBron was the first person in the gym and was the last person to leave, putting his work in,” Lue said, reflecting on the four years they spent together in Cleveland.

Lue recalled how, even when the team landed late at night, LeBron would be up early, working on his body and conditioning by 6:30 a.m.

“When we land or we get in around 2 o’clock in the morning, he’s still up at 6:30 in the morning doing his activation and all that stuff,” Lue noted.

The Clippers coach noted that James’ dedication to maintaining peak physical condition is a testament to his success on the court.

Lue compared James’ relentless work ethic to that of other basketball greats, underscoring his respect for the Lakers star’s approach to the game.

He remarked on the discipline LeBron displayed, saying, “Just the work that he puts into his body and every single day the hard work on the court—there are very similar comparisons.”

James, who will turn 40 years old in December, is entering his 22nd season in the NBA still averaging 25-plus points per game.
