Two prominent NBA news-breakers are making career moves ahead of the 2024/25 season, reports Ryan Glasspiegel of The New York Post. Shams Charania is departing from Stadium, while Chris Haynes is leaving TNT Sports.
Charania will continue with The Athletic and FanDuel TV, although those contracts are set to expire soon as well.
Glasspiegel notes that with NBC and Amazon Prime Video gearing up to broadcast NBA games starting in 2025, they may look to bring on reporters and analysts like Charania and Haynes as part of their coverage teams.
