The Lakers have signed center Kylor Kelley to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to NBA insider Jovan Buha.
Kelley, who played for the Maine Celtics last season, joins Los Angeles as part of the team’s training camp roster.
Kelley, who went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft, initially signed with the San Antonio Spurs in December 2020. He was later waived by the Spurs but continued his career with the Austin Spurs.
In July 2021, Kelley signed with the London Lions for the 2021–22 BBL season. He then moved to the Bakken Bears, competing in both the Champions League and the Danish Basketligaen.
Kelley returned to the Austin Spurs in December 2022. His performances there led to a brief stint with Raptors 905 in early 2023.
In May 2023, Kelley signed with the Calgary Surge of the Canadian Elite Basketball League. His most recent move was to the Maine Celtics, where he averaged 8.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in the G League.
The Exhibit 10 contract allows the Lakers to evaluate Kelley during training camp. If he does not make the final roster, the contract could lead to a standard NBA deal or a spot on the Lakers’ G League affiliate.
