Boston Celtics forward Sam Hauser has secured a four-year, $45 million contract extension, according to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
The extension will keep Hauser with the Celtics through the 2028-2029 season.
Hauser, known for his sharp shooting, made 42.4 percent of his three-point attempts last season.
His shooting percentage was the fourth-best among players with over 400 attempts.
Last season, the 26-year-old averaged 9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 22 minutes per game.
The new contract will significantly impact Boston’s future payroll, raising it to a projected $225 million for the 2025-2026 season.
This amount includes a $210 million luxury tax penalty, marking the highest in the league.
