Memphis Grizzlies point guard Scotty Pippen Jr. thinks that he’s playing top notch defense so far at NBA 2K25 Summer League (averaging 3.5 SPG in four games).

Jessica Benson: “Coach [Jason March] said that you are the best defender here at summer league and he was so grateful when I asked about you. GG [Jackson] is nodding his head emphatically right now, what does it mean to you to have that kind of support from Coach March and this team?”
Pippen: “That means a lot to me. Coming out of college, that kinda was a knock that I couldn’t guard, so I’m here to show that I could do that and I believe as well I’m the best defender in summer league.”
