Here’s San Antonio Spurs 2024 #4 pick Stephon Castle on the things he can do as a point guard.
(via News 4 San Antonio):
Don Harris: “You told everybody in the pre-draft process that you’re a point guard at heart, how can you be a starting point guard in the NBA after playing pretty much the 2 at UConn?”
Castle: “Just with my versatility, doing everything on the court, my playmaking ability, my ability to create shots for myself and my teammates. And then what I learned at UConn was playing off the ball, so just having a guy like Victor [Wembanyama] bring the ball up being able to set screens for him or cut when his space gets a little crowded. So, just using my whole versatile game to really fulfill that role.”
