The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the midst of their search for a new head coach, with Micah Nori emerging as a potential candidate.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that the Cavaliers have obtained permission to interview Minnesota Timberwolves assistant for the vacant head coaching position.

Nori, who hails from Ohio, has also engaged in discussions with the Los Angeles Lakers for their coaching vacancy.

In addition to Nori, the Cavaliers have recently received permission to speak with assistant coaches Kenny Atkinson, James Borrego, Johnnie Bryant, and Chris Quinn.
