Lin Dunn defended Caitlin Clark after she was body-checked to the ground by Sky player Chennedy Carter during the third quarter of the Indiana Fever’s 71-70 victory over Chicago on Saturday night.
The Fever general manager took to social media after the game, addressing the incident where Carter appeared to shout ‘you bit*h’ at Clark before pushing her to the ground.
“There’s a difference between tough defense and unnecessary – targeting actions!” the longtime WNBA coach wrote on X.
“It needs to stop! The league needs to “cleanup'” the crap,” she added. “That’s NOT who this league is!!”
