The 25-year-old guard’s statistics this season are 5.6 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 13 minutes per game.
Selected in the second round of the 2021 NBA draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, Butler’s journey to the Wizards saw him traded via the Memphis Grizzlies to the Utah Jazz before eventually landing in Washington.
