Former NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire suggests that Dallas Mavericks’ sensation Luka Doncic has the potential to surpass LeBron James’ monumental 40,000-point milestone.

Stoudemire’s remarks come in light of James’ historic achievement as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, setting a seemingly insurmountable benchmark for future generations.

Speaking to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, Stoudemire emphasized Doncic’s unique talents and potential longevity as factors that could position him to challenge James’ record.

While acknowledging Kevin Durant as a potential contender, Stoudemire singled out Doncic as the primary candidate with the ability to make a run at the milestone.

“Luka maybe. Other than that, no. Kevin Durant possibly… but other than that, no I don’t see it. I don’t see it bro,” Stoudemire said.

At just 25 years old, Doncic’s current NBA points total stands at 11,340, signaling that he has a substantial journey ahead to approach James’ record.
