Detroit Pistons guard Evan Fournier faces a $25,000 fine for kicking the game ball into the stands after their recent loss.

The league’s decision comes after Fournier’s action at the end of the Pistons’ game against the Miami Heat (104-101), where he kicked the ball following the final buzzer.

The incident, deemed a violation of league rules, resulted in the hefty fine imposed on Fournier by the NBA.

Fournier’s frustration boiled over as he expressed his disappointment with the outcome of the game against the Heat, which was decided by Bam Adebayo’s buzzer-beating three-pointer.
